Laws that could get a tourist arrested

• ☐ Drug offenses — Morocco enforces incredibly harsh laws regarding drugs. Avoid all involvement to prevent severe legal consequences.
• ☐ Prostitution and pornography — The importation, distribution, and production of pornography are illegal. Prostitution is also strictly prohibited.
• ☐ Religious proselytizing — Preaching, proselytizing, or encouraging religious debate is illegal. Authorities heavily punish those who engage in these activities.
• ☐ Defaming Islam — Speaking badly of Islam or distributing non-Islamic religious literature can lead to arrest. Avoid these actions to stay out of trouble with authorities.
