Laws that could get a tourist arrested

• ☐ Mandatory ID carriage — Both Israeli and Palestinian security services require you to carry your passport at all times.
• ☐ Checkpoint contraband — Keep Palestinian flags and political pamphlets out of plain sight when crossing Israeli checkpoints to avoid security complications.
• ☐ Mosque dress code — Women must cover their heads when entering a mosque, and all visitors must remove their shoes before entry.
