• ☐ Tipping: Tipping has not been a custom, but has become more commonplace. Some restaurants, especially those in hotels or those that serve foreign tourists expect a tip. Most do not. Only airport taxis expect a tip. Local taxis do not.

Laws that could get a tourist arrested

• ☐ Illegal parking enforcement — Tow trucks known as the wrecker enforce illegal parking regulations quickly. If towed, you must retrieve the vehicle at the impound lot and pay a TT$500 fine.
